Whew. That message felt like a stiff punch when I first read it. Because if we’re being honest, we’ve all had seasons where every day felt like the same song on repeat. We talk about wanting change, but our actions keep playing the same old tune.

A few years ago, I learned this lesson the hard way. I was conducting business through my TikTok DMs (yes, the DMs 😅), and I ended up DJing a five-hour event for $250. Not because the client was wrong.. but because I didn’t have systems, clarity, or boundaries. I was playing small and hoping for big results.

It wasn’t until I got tired of repeating my own patterns that I started to see real growth. Once I shifted how I showed up in my work, in my habits, in my mindset everything started to change.

So this week, I want to challenge you to do the same.

Don’t wait for the universe to force your hand. Change before you have to my friend.

🎯 Actionable Steps On How To Apply This Message Today

1. Flip the Script 🎯 Do something opposite of your usual routine. If you normally scroll first thing in the morning, journal instead. If you usually stay quiet in meetings, speak up once. Sometimes one small change in rhythm is all it takes to shift momentum.​
2. Start (or Stop) a Challenge 🔁 Pick a 7, 21, 30, or 90-day challenge — either to let go of a habit that no longer serves you or start one that aligns with your goals. Change sticks when it’s practiced daily, not just promised mentally.
3. Have the Conversation You’ve Been Avoiding 🗣️ Whether it’s with your boss, your partner, your friend, or yourself — that conversation you’ve been dodging might be the doorway to growth. Don’t wait for clarity to come to you; go create it.​
